Collect identifiers
Record the marketing name, model code, product/codename, region or CSC, carrier status, current build number, Android version, security patch level and chipset.
Use Settings, the bootloader screen, the packaging label and trusted device documentation. Do not rely on a seller listing or a filename alone.
Match every package
The ROM, recovery, firmware and optional add-ons must match the exact supported device. Confirm whether one build covers several variants or whether separate regional images exist.
Check file names, release notes and device pages before downloading. A codename match is usually more reliable than a marketing-name match.
Stop conditions
Stop if the device page is ambiguous, your model is not listed, the bootloader is carrier-restricted, or the required stock firmware is unavailable.
Unlocking and flashing can erase data, weaken device security, disable protected services or make a phone unbootable. Use only your own device, exact model-specific instructions and a tested stock restore path.
