Samsung-specific eligibility
Check the exact model number and region. Some Galaxy variants expose OEM unlocking while carrier or regional variants can be permanently restricted.
Booting unauthorized software can set the Knox Warranty Bit, a persistent hardware record. Returning to stock does not reset it, and services that rely on Knox can remain unavailable.
Installation flow
Update to the required stock firmware and record the bootloader revision/CSC. Back up data and verify that stock firmware for the exact model is available.
Unlock only if the device exposes the official OEM unlock flow. Enter Download Mode using the model-specific button/USB sequence.
Use only the flashing method and recovery image named by the ROM maintainer. Samsung devices often use Download Mode and Odin-compatible packages rather than standard Fastboot.
Boot directly into the installed recovery when instructed, format data if required, sideload the exact ROM and approved add-ons, then validate radio, cameras, biometrics and encryption.
Stop conditions
Do not proceed when OEM unlocking is absent, the model suffix differs, the bootloader revision cannot be restored, or the only available instructions are for another regional variant.
Unlocking and flashing can erase data, weaken device security, disable protected services or make a phone unbootable. Use only your own device, exact model-specific instructions and a tested stock restore path.
