OnePlus preflight
Confirm the exact model, regional variant and device codename. Carrier editions can use different unlock rules or require an additional token process.
Update to the stock firmware required by the ROM and download the matching recovery or boot image only from the project’s device page.
Installation flow
Enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging, verify ADB/Fastboot, then use the official bootloader unlock mechanism for the supported device. The unlock wipes data.
Follow the ROM guide for booting or flashing recovery, copying firmware to both slots when required, formatting data and sideloading the package.
After first boot, verify cameras, fingerprint, alert slider, cellular functions, charging and OTA updates.
Recovery planning
Keep the official recovery/rollback package and exact stock build information. Do not use an MSM or unbrick package from an untrusted mirror.
Unlocking and flashing can erase data, weaken device security, disable protected services or make a phone unbootable. Use only your own device, exact model-specific instructions and a tested stock restore path.
