Remove old adhesive completely, clean only with the approved solvent and place new seals without stretching or overlap.
Run manufacturer calibration or self-repair tools when the replaced part requires pairing or cycle-count reset.

Decision rule

A home reseal cannot be assumed to restore the original IP rating unless it is tested with appropriate equipment.
